Update #1: The Mastermind of COCOON news

Hello and good morning to fellow 'evils' over there!

We offer a deep and sincere gratitude to all of you for your support during our first days of launch! It's a crucial moment, but thanks to you, we are able to pass it through.

Five days have been passed, and now it's the time to give you the updates on the project!

First off, here are the logo and symbols representing each character of Pale Blue (Ellen, Tammy, and Frei), along with a cover for both Facebook and Twitter. Would be a blast if you could use it!

On the other side, we are now testing several functions and mechanics to our mock-ups, such as destructible background effects and different forms of damage. For instance a 'Hit' attack that not only affects adjacent objects such as enemies and destructible obstacles, and 'Smash' attack that affects environment/background such as buildings, walls, etc. We're also enhancing the animation and adding some movement like climbing.

Then... another character! You might have read about him in the Professor's profile. Together with the Professor, Tesla is the one who created the enigmatic evil organization, COCOON. He cast away his old identity and was reborn as Monarch, the evil overlord of COCOON. He sees the world as a beautiful piece of creation, yet the humans have disgraced it. They're incomplete, just like an ugly caterpillar in the beautiful garden. That's why he's determined to be the 'Cocoon' which will force human to 'metamorphose' into a beautiful 'butterfly'.

The question on everyone’s mind is what has led him to such twisted ambition? What is the story behind these two scientists who took it upon themselves to reshape the world? These questions are one of the many aspects we want to reveal throughout the game. As the game progresses, we will take you through the Pale Blue journey to see who is behind this blind ambition and idealism, where it began, and where it will end.

Kwan is an international team composed of members from the Philippines, France, Indonesia, US and UK, who currently have a campaign on Kickstarter for their game, Exogenesis. The latter is a combination of a point-and-click adventure game with an emphasis on the storytelling which we normally find in a visual novel. With striking similarity to Pale Blue, Exogenesis is another great example of an adventure game bundled together with beautiful art and a stunning storyline. They are now undergoing their last few hours of the campaign and have already hit the main goal (cheers!!). Personally, we think this game has great potential!
