Welcome to our twelfth game dev article of “Unseen Value”. Today we will show you the Ui for the dialogue.
Dialogue UI
In Unseen Value, during the gameplay, the character Maria will tell the player several characteristics about the objects. When this happens, a dialogue box appears.
For this dialogue box, we did several studies. We tried to use a colour that better matched the environment.
In the end, we selected a black background and white letters.

Accessibility
One of the main concerns of Unseen Value is accessibility. In the dialogue we allow the players to change the size of the letters.

Colours
For the colour of the dialogue box, we want it to have a good contrast between the background and the letters. To do so we opted to have a black background with lighter letters.
