Roughly a year ago, Guilds of Gods transitioned from pre-alpha to alpha. The last account reset occurred, and it was decided that from here on out the accounts are permanent. Things got serious, with dreams of a full release on the way.
Throughout the year, the Guilds of Gods Alpha thrived. It expanded from a single-server game to a multi-server game, minimizing downtime. One of these servers became a Test Realm, giving a proper testing ground for players to test out patches before they go live. We released a pre-alpha Android edition, with the iPhone port in the pipeline. The map increased four-fold over this timeframe and came with the addition of many new skills, items, NPCs, and even a dungeon minigame.
Guilds of Gods attended many indie game events in Vancouver, with in-game flyers being passed out during these events to commemorate the occasions.
We’ve recently upped our social media game and are ready to start putting effort into keeping our supporters updated! With 2020 just around the corner, we’re going full force into the New Year. We now find ourselves in late-alpha, preparing for our next major milestone; A public released Early Beta. What better way to start 2020 running than to go into it with momentum!
