Although we fell short of our Kickstarter goal, it served the purpose of bringing more attention to Lord of Rigel. We are continuing development and recently hit a major internal milestone of a playable version of the game with four species and conquest victories. In terms of artwork we are also nearly finished with the main assets for the ten playable species in the game and doing final mastering work for the audio.
We have a long road ahead to our planned release date in summer of 2016, but we're dedicated to bringing the game to each and every one of you who has supported us so far! We'll be making future announcements regarding ways that you can support Rhombus Studios in making Lord of Rigel a reality.
