Designers from Pie For Breakfast took a break from making our mobile zombie game, Dead Man's Trail to participate in Global Game Jam 2014. The result is Celestium, a brawler with king-of-the-hill style gameplay and Greek gods and goddesses. Players must fight one another and a short clock to control as many horoscope blocks as possible. The more blocks a player holds, the faster their score multiplies. If players capture a block with their own sign, they get bigger bonuses!
After GGJ, we got to work updating the game to turn it into a fully realized product. Here are some screenshots and pieces of concept artwork. Stay tuned for more!
