Post news RSS Louzan Devlog #14 - Little Details

Time moves on, details are added, and Louzan looks better by the day!

Posted by on

Hey there mates!

During our life, we tend to look at the big picture and move on. But sometimes, we have to stop and appreciate the little things. Look at the little details that make everything come to life!

Ready? Ok! Let's start then!

Details - 1st Chapter

Ok ok, we have to do a real quick stop on some technical things before going into the little details. During a closed test session that the team did a while back, some people believe that green was a better colour to give feedback to people that the camera was in the right spot to take pictures. So guess what, it's green now! Think it's better? Tell us in the comments!

Now, the little details! First of all, there was an improvement in the heads displayed next to the text. Hugo looks more like Hugo, and Dad... Dad has a best moustache, in my opinion. Look at that gorgeous 'stache!

You may have noticed that Hugo's backpack has some pins. And I know exactly what you are thinking. WHAT ARE THOSE? WHAT DO THEY MEAN? Well, the bad part is that they don't pay me enough to tell you this, so it'll remain a secret, I guess.

Dad is pointing at something important! In real life, this may seem like something basic, but in video games, is something really cool. Dad reacts to what is happening! He may point while speaking with Hugo, will laugh when Hugo misses a photo and more.

Lastly, some little elements are being added to create a more dynamic landscape, and my god. It looks amazing. I think I just found myself a new wallpaper!

Chapter 1 of Louzan: My Father once told me is reaching its final stages of development, but the team always knows that there is always something that can be improved. This week, it was the details. Next week, no one knows.

Alright, guys thank you for being here once again!

Keep being safe, and we'll see you all next week!
