Anyone notice on this site you either have very stylized in game content with terrible or no 2d art OR games will have zip/nadda/nerp all for content, but have some awesome 2D art??
Also bugs me that the latter get more attention on indieDB. I could care less about a sexy anime splashscreen if you literally just have a default Unity3D third person character and 2 model houses.
Kinda scares me. Anyone else feel this way or am i just being a casual or something?
Not just here, pretty much elsewhere too. Greenlight also gets some cheap, unpolished, quickly made games. There is a forum thread that touches upon a very similar subject Indiedb.com
