Hello folks, Today we want to present a bit of our progress to you.
Please keep in mind that this is only a small part of what we did in the
last, especially in the mesh-section. There are also tons of gameplay
and code improvements and changes, animations and textures.
Also, there is finally good amount of progress on the mapmaking, our
first semi-world, "Island" is getting into shape, and we started making
vegetation and foliage and all other kinds of stuff for a great world.

Here are some images for you:
The WW2 Shovel, a selfmade bow, and tribe (burning) and selfmade arrows. There will also be
a bone carved tribe bow, as most of our weapons come in 2 or more different kinds.
Models and textures may be replaced and especially textures are not final for
some meshes. (The white arrows are untextured of course)
There are a lot more meshes, but most of them are untextured yet, we really need
a texture artist (among others)! Come on, write us :)
Here is the new endurance bar (metal) and the short tooltip, which appears on
mouseover over objects. (wood)
Here is a very early view on the first semi world. Survivor will feature a level system
which is something special between a classical world (RPG) and maps (FPS).
Please note that this is nowhere near the final look of the map :)

Hello. No. You will have to buy it in order to play it. But I believe we will release a free to play demo.
Once the game is on alpha state we will release a singleplayer demo with only "Free" Survival
basicly unlimited time in the island to get resources,build etc

we are using a lot of optimisation in the game so it should run pretty fine in any PC

I know there's multiplayer but could you add a lan? I love to play these kinda games with my brother so that would be good.

Dw about what I just said,
I got some questions though.
1. How will the building work? I'm amusing you mean shelters. Will you need tools to make the them like hammers and string and stuff? And cut down trees and branches? That would be cool.
2.Food/water: Will animals continue to spawn throughout the world or will you have to be sustainable? And will there be like fruit so you can gather from bushes and trees? Maybe to catch animals you could use traps like snares and holes.
How do you get water other than from streams and lakes? Maybe you could implement something like collecting it from diggable holes that slowly fill bust must be filtered and boiled?
4.What can we expect from multiplayer? It would be good to have like a hie and seek gamemode where you have to survive from others and steal their food or ally with them. Or another one where you have to survive together but there are less resources in the world.
5.Will there be stuff like caving where you can like absale and climb up/down cliffs and into caves to find old ww2 secrets and tribal temples and stuff? Or find caves full of water that contain fish and shortcuts to other place but are more damegerous because of the rocks and water?
These are just a few questions and ideas that I would like to see and know about. I'll tell you anymore stuff that i come up with in the future!

1. For building you need first the right tools,second the building recipe and third the resources
once the player opens his journal you can select from a list of your available buildings once selected a green version of the not builded version will spawn and then you can move arround till you find a good spot for it,switches to red if its not placeable
once placed you gotta hit your building with an apropiate tool i.e hammer until the building percentage goes up,your model will change based on the percentage i.e 50% building changes to more decent state,100% changes to full state
2 traps is someting that is alredy added,player can recolect any kind of food from killing animals to getting fruits etc he can even plant seeds and get fruits from them later,for water you need an container to put the water in and some fire to filter it to be "Drinkeable"
4. Our main focus in multiplayer right now is co-op , in any multiplayer mode friendly fire is always on so lets say if your running outta food and your startving and your last option is to kill your partner you can do it taking all his resources etc
Theres also an "Free" survival mode that you can play with as max 4 players so in short you gotta survive until you get rescued or thats what i was having in mind for some gamemodes variations its someting that we still gotta discuss a bit
5. of course there will be climbing from ledges etc and the island will be full of secrets for players to find (;

Doubt there will be a demo.
Alpha will probably come out around the end of the year or something, you just have to wait :) The wait will be worth it though!
there is gonna be an demo actually but with out multiplayer just "Free" survival until you die

It's still quite far away, the expected demo release would be before the full game release.
