IPC Ventures (IPC) announced the launch of Gaming Top Talent (GTT), a new contest designed to support mobile game developers around the world. The competition opened applications at the beginning of March and applications will remain open until June 2016.

Thanks to strong partnerships with major gaming industry partners, GTT will be able to offer compelling prizes to winners of the contest with a total prize value of over $1M. Benefits for developers will include:

  • Chance to win funding capital from investors
  • Chance to win exclusive publishing deals from major publisher
  • Increased awareness of your game pre-launch through dedicated YouTube and Twitch channels
  • Hands on advice from mentors with experience launching mobile games

Gaming Top Talent will mainly take place online, however live on-site pre-auditions will also take place at major game conventions for developers who would prefer to present their games face to face. So far Games Connection, Casual connect, MGF and Nordic Games have been announced with several more to come.

The competition will take place over a period of 9 months and will be broken into three main phases: Pre-auditions, Bootcamp and the Grand Finale. Around 50 developers will be selected for the online Bootcamp and will then work through a series of iterations, working alongside mentors to improve their games before the finalists are selected. 10 finalists will then be selected for the Grand Finale.

In order to participate in the competition interested devs should apply at www.gamingtoptalent.com..
