Levers
Lever is the basic and one of the main mechanics of the game. Switching it can cause virtually any effect: from opening the door, through activating a trap, to controlling, for example, an elevator. Its condition can be changed by the princess, the knight, and many other elements of the castle equipment in which we face the adventure in Two Souls. The lever can have different positions and for each position control one or more elements of the level in different ways. It can work in a loop or, when reaching the last position, get stuck there. It may also return to previous positions after some time. In a word: there are many possibilities and the game, to put it mildly, will not lead you by the hand.
Doors
The second fundamental object in the game is the door. Both of our heroes can pass through the door, provided, of course, that the door is open. And you think right: a lever is one of many objects that can be used to open a closed door. Of course, doors aren't just passages to the next level: a lot of doors, those without a shield above them, are simply passages between different parts of the same level. Some of these doors may latch after use and prevent you from returning through them, and some may not. In some cases this may be helpful. And in some don't. Sometimes this can cause the character to fall into the wrong place, die and you will have to start the level again. Because: yep, you will die many, many times in this game.
