New Bot System
The AI system has now been revamped and uses ray casting as its base logic. Bots now have faster reaction time and level navigation have been significantly improved to make it more challenging with players and other AI.
The beta version will introduce a new mapping system that will start on a simple level creation going to more complex scenes such as lightmapping, trigger events and scripting. Currently, linear fog and direct lighting are now in place but other scene components like skybox will be added soon.
Here's a couple of early beta game play preview that showcases the overall features with the new mapping and AI system in. As mentioned in previous article, the game is now using first person mode with weapon recoil.
