The second dev blog of our EECS-P3 game, Sticky Situation.

Firstly, we got lots of complaints for our spider web. Previously our web is just a straight line and it does not seem good. In this version, we changed it to a curved web and adjusted the spider's position when it climbs on the web. We plan to refine the web a bit more next week.

Secondly, we received feedbacks about our enemies. Our enemies did not seem to be integrated into the main game mechanics well. For example, the fly just wonders in the room and does not interact with the player. We changed the enemies to have more interactions with the player. For the next week, we plan to fix some minor errors of the enemies and also make a battleroom in the cabinet for the enemies.

Thirdly, we changed the lighting and materials of our scenes to make it feel more real as cabinets and kitchen counters. We are doing this to create better atmosphere in our game. In the next week, we will focus more on the art and music. We will refine the details and add more juiceness.
