Today I can FINALLY inform that we (re-)released our augmented reality game J**AR balançAR.
After some perturbations with legal party that represents franchise owner of real puzzle game that I based my game on I had to remove it from Android Play store and Apple App Store, do rebranding and put it again in stores.
From the start I didn’t want to infringe any rights, so albeit from name change I changed rules of game. But as legal party claimed the name was too close to original. My goal was to introduce classical experience in augmented reality (not to rip-off someone else idea) and was done in 30 days for Ludum Dare October Challenge („release game in one month and earn 1$”) just for FUN.
New name is portuguese for balancing. (no, I’m not from Portugal/Brasil :).
So here’s new version with new name, better graphics, updated metaio’s AR library, some bug-fixes.
