We have been working on Asura for 2 years now at Ogre Head Studio and have finally put up the game on Steam Greenlight for you guys to check out.
Asura is a 3D Hack 'n' Slash, Rogue-like with procedurally generated skill tree and loosely inspired by Indian Mythos. What started of as a mobile project with an idea to develop a game with random skill tree for the protagonist character has now morphed into a PC rogue-like game. The development has been long and we are still not finished yet but the game is completely playable!
We are a two person team at Ogre Head Studio, an indie game company based in Hyderabad, India and Asura will be our first self published game. At the moment, we are ironing out some of the features and fixing bugs as our closed beta testers are helping us track them down. The development of the game has been bumpy but a really fun journey with lots of changes and iterations and we truly believe that the game is heading towards the correct direction hence the move to put it on Green-light!
