It's already been another week, and things are really in full swing around HQ. The holidays are just around the corner now, and we have plenty of events going on around the community! This is only thebeginning, and we're working on some great things. We think everyone will be very happy with the surprises we've got in store

Monday, we took a look at some of our concepts for rifles. It showed some of the many variations that we're considering implementing. We want a variety of designs to keep the weapons interesting as the gameprogresses. If you missed the sneak peak, check it out here:
The Tuesday posts gave a glimpse into the story behind the game. We haven'tlet the cat out of the bag in terms of much of the backstory, but we want you as the explorers to have full control over what happens in youradventures. Edge of Space is definitely about making the story your own!Wednesday we celebrated the approach of the holiday season (and my birthday!)with the launch of numerous giveaways! Those end tomorrow, so there is still time to get in and win awesome games. Check out the thread for all the details:
We also took a look at one of the beacons that will be featured in Edge of Space. Getting lost in space is never a good idea, so we aim to provide the playerwith plenty of ways to avoid ending up in a laser shark's belly! You can see the previewof one of the styles here:
The HUGE new of the week was the release of the newest patch to the game. It's crammed with new features, visual improvements and performance boosting revamps to the world gen and lighting systems. Additionally, you can now palce and remove background tiles, place new structure tiles, and check out a ton of new placeables we stuck in for your decorating pleasure! Our Friday Word from the devs was short and sweet, as Jake and Paul work like madmento get the game ever closer to the full launch version of the game. still, it's always great to hear from Jake, and get a taste of what's going on. If you missed it, check it out here:
