It all started when Morys of Seadogs took over the reins of Anderia and decided to renew our contacts with --------- from the Old Land over the ocean. The reason for that was pretty clear, the resources on our side of Grande Orieades started to shrink, and the mountain passage to the other side of the mountains was under the control of Scarres. And so with the help from --------- marksmen we’ve managed to fight off those savage tribes and take over the control over that region.
In exchange for their help --------- newcomers demanded we give them one of our cities, and along with that a place in Elder Council. For Morys it was killing two birds with one stone and so the Council agreed, though they didn’t know what was coming next.
We gave them one of two of our port cities and they decided to capitalize on that. Suddenly they tripled the taxes for merchants trespassing Assekrem. Some of the members of the Elder Council sent their merchants with an order to ignore the taxes imposed by ---------. It turned out into a nasty incident; the merchants sent there were impaled in front of the city gates as a warning to anyone that’d like to follow their steps.
Part of the Elder Council wanted to declare an open war towards them, but not all members were so eager. Some of them had agreements with --------- for lower taxes on their merchants (some would call it bribery) and the sole thought of besieging Assekrem would terrify even the greatest of generals. It was a fortress surrounded by water, leaving only one narrow path through the land to the gates. And now it is also equipped with almost every kind of technologically advanced weapons you could imagine, as it is a specialty of ---------.
And then Sir Dryshold mentioned that constant attacks from Scarres had stopped suddenly. We didn’t have to wait long to find out why, somehow those beasts have found some other secret passages through the mountains and now there are not only --------- sitting in the middle of our country, doing whatever they want but also the biggest in history of their race army of Scarres marching from the South through the Wilderness, we can only count down days until they reach the border cities…
No one knows how those creatures managed to organize themselves into such a powerful force. Would this happen if we didn’t drive them off the main passage? We may only speculate. As for now I hope that higher ups have some aces under their sleeves, because there are dark clouds above us.
Senus – ‘Report on the current political situation of Anderia’
Anderian troops consist of honorable men, trained for years in War Academies scattered throughout the country. During the battle, Anderian armies prefer to stay on defensive, as their soldiers are often heavily armored and not very mobile. They excel in long-range combat and special battle formations. Lunar Weavers from Silvermoon’s Academy draw their energy directly from the moon, which allows them to manipulate space around them. They also are able to enter a certain state of mind called the Eclipse in which their power is multiplied. They claim that they can travel to other dimensions.
