Any way to lower the fps in dx8 mode? at present cut scenes are running so fast it's blink and miss it. Have tried to force vsync in driver menu but game seems to ignore it

Have an odd issue when trying this game, at the character select screen, the white box keeps moving up and down, the only thing I can do is make it move to the right.

Good for a first try, only real bad points are lack of fear from being hunted by something.
It feels better after reading the creepypasta, but maybe seeing one of the now messed up humans after turning the gas off shouting, then breaking a door down would give a hint that something is with you.

Tried playing this again, sadly all that happens is it crashing after the intro video :(

One thing that might be bug that picked up on, near the door that's closed and need a key. There is a white door you can just pass though, spent ages walking outside wondering if I was suppose to be there or not.
Other then that, walking/running speed could be a bit faster. Scaling of some objects, as walking around found a sink that was as tall as the character.

Good kind of short, only thing might suggest is the car size at the start was a bit to big, felt like the character was tiny.

download unpacked flags the .exe it seems as W32.Jeefo virus.

Having a weird issue, done a clean install of the game, installed this and now when it goes to third person, the camera is stuck at an angle looking to the side of the character and will not center behind the character and can not be rotated in any way.
Any suggestions as to how to fix?

Okay for any that had issues like me, where the game would not start at all. Need to install source sdk and source sdk base 2006 and 2007. then it will run :)

not sure if this information will help further for finding the issue as to why it won't run.
The shortcut the .exe makes has it location marked as the internet no actual file location. asking steam to make a shortcut does not fix the issue.
Yes have tried using the rar version still will not run :(

setup new computer everything working fine but for some reason this mod no longer works. pressing play put either does nothing and if I use the shortcut it will simply load up the steam client if steam is not running.

So far the only issues have come across is random slow down.
And getting trapped in temple/church building when running from the storm.
For the getting trapped, ran to the village looking area, thought had to go inside the temple, saw the door was blocked by wood. So went round the back entered via a window. Then once inside could not get back out as the window had vanished under sand.

that's the point, walking though the rooms because of no given reason.
There's no threat to the character as in, have to go to the next door because, character might die/get caught/go insane.
With the enemy having no threat to your character, no real reason to be afraid of it or even run away from it since it's not going to do anything to affect the character.

Think if there was tad more explaining as to why it's happening or what/who the thing is would help. could be something as simple as finding notes, or when entering a new room some small amount of speech by the character like an internal monologue.
at present it feels like simply walking though random rooms just because.

Is there a way to fix the save bug ? at present when ever I save a game then carry on the next day, simply fall though the world

ah cool will have to hunt for it now :) so far been a fun game. also made a guy in my office jump so all good heh

So are there 8 or 9 bears? when I picked a few up noticed it said 3 of 9 but when I was in the starting room it said you need 8.
So found 8 went back no more text saying you need 8 and nothing happens.

nope nothing :( though oddly gamesaves folder now pops up.
But will wait to v2 :)

no codes :( just the happy windows error message then shuts down.
Might have some later, will try a reinstall and see what happens

Sadly not able to play :( when ever it loads, goes to the menu screen see the loading bar then crashes out saying fps stopped working. Using windows 7 64 bit 660gtx 8gb of ram and I5 2.9ghz.
Any ideas how to stop it crashing? as this looks fun :)
