Yaw is mostly for fine tuning aiming. Its effectiveness has been increased in newer version as well. Controller support has also been added.

Yeah, there is a large amount of particles in this video. I have since then optimized the effect a lot. Its 100 particles per second now. Btw your game darkraze looks really cool!

The servers are pretty dead so from the latest update.
The servers are usually full for a couple of days whenever there is a new patch. The next one will be out around the 20th of oktober. If you want to be notified when the patch goes live you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and I can add you to our mailing list :)
Another option is to set up a match with a couple of friends.

I love the artstyle in most of the scenes, eespecially the ones with a lot of lighting effects. My advice would be to try to use that as much as possible. The green posion-looking map looks great

A lot of people have asked about that actually and we do plan on adding that together with many other control schemes. It really lessens the experience if you cant use the control scheme you prefer.

Oh, that sucks. It should hopefully work in the next patch. I remade the sensitivity code, it was pretty messy. So hopefully I got rid of the issues you're having.
As for supporting the game, I have wanted to run a kickstarter campaign but it isn't available in Sweden. They have stated that they are trying to expand but there is no way to tell how long it will take.
If you would like to support the game now you can always spread the word and tell people about it :)
When we get a website up and running we'll probably make it possible to preorder the game from there.

The game is multiplayer if anyone else is playing. The bots come if there are less than 4 players on the server and it does sounds like you were the only one playing unfortunately. Hopefully you will get a chance to play with some more people some time in the future :) There are usually loads of people playing the first couple of days of the play test.

The slow movement might be a glitch some people have had problems with.
Its that the sensitivity is really low even though it display it being high. The sensitivity can be changed in the options menu. And to fix the bug all you have to do is to turn the sensitivity down and back up again.

I usually put out a play test once per month so there are some significant changes from the last one.

Try waiting a bit longer, sometimes the match takes a while to load otherwise try running as admin or re downloading the files. I have not come a cross this issue myself so i sadly cant give you a more specific answer.
