Hey, Thanks for all the nice comments. You have no idea how happy this makes me.

As for the guys having problems with crashes or otherwise, I guess that's due to the Desura version being quite old. (1.2.2) - I have uploaded the newest version (1.2.7) to Desura right now, I'm still new to this so I hope everything goes smoothly. If you haven't played this version - I highly recommend it - it adds a ton of fixes and new features - even new power-ups and enemies...

Yeah, I kind of liked it, too. That's why it "survived" for so long even though I knew it was kind of broken. But people started exploiting it and bending the game in ways that really shouldn't happen. So I had to clamp it down a bit.

Sorry! I removed the score, because I suspected that you were cheating--somehow. Your score was well above and beyond what I had ever seen.

I guess I might have wrongly accused you of cheating and I'm sorry if I have caused you any grief!

If you could shoot me a mail at hello at manuelvandyck.com I'm sure we can work something out. Also please try the new 1.0.5 version, it has a better reporting system so I don't need to take such measures. :)

The code is a key, or to use the correct term, a seed, not unlike an encryption key, from which the appearance of the invaders, your ship and some aspects of the game (difficulty) are generated.

So the code doesn't have any meaning per say, it just represents a mathematical value, which in turn represents the "version" of the game you're playing.
