For me Rage already looks like the screenshots you've posted. I use modified config that uses 16k vt page sizes. So what has changed? I downloaded it already btw.
If you don't like it, you can turn off your pistol's laser sight with secondary fire(mapped to right click by default). Similarly, you can ignore plasma gun's railgun add on, by never using the secondary-fire (mapped to right click by default)
Sorry, it is not compatible with ROE. I don't have any immediate plans to work on ROE port of this mod yet due to lack of free time. My apologies again.
I did start adding some graphics features to my mod back in 2009. Since then I have been working on and off on it. I never got to finish it due to my job and personal commitments. I can show you some screenshots if you are interested. I am thinking of releasing it as is, but I haven't decided yet.
