Finally! A new Gamebook!

I like the Geneforge series better, but Jeff Vogel is a brilliant writer, so I strongly recommend anything from Spiderweb Software.

Noticed the gap between this and number 7 is rather large. Has Tin Man stopped porting these to desktop?

Games based on luck have a tendency to suck. Ruins the point of making choices, but then the choices have random consequences too, not being based on any knowledge or strategy...

Thanks, I think I have it figured out. It wasn't letting me drag the hammer into a weapons slot. It kept dropping the hammer back into my backpack everytime I tried to equip it. Weird, but a restart seems to have fixed the situation.

Ummmm can't make it through tutorial section. Says equip hammer. Tried various dragging and hold+click combos. Cannot equip hammer.
