I personally often buy alpha indie games, but then wait to play them till they're in a more finished state.
Not necessarily because I won't have fun while playing the alpha, but because I'm afraid I'll get bored of the game before it comes out and won't return to it when it's done.

The result? I bought Kenshi the day it became available for pre-order, but haven't played it.

I would assume so.

I won't berate you for that decision, as much as I disagree with you. Instead I'll offer an alternative.

Change king to monarch. It'd still be a reference, and wouldn't be quite as gender specific.

Whoa.
It's a... I'm not even going to bother listing the amount of genres anymore. Well, good luck, I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

I'll be participating in this - no, I'm already participating. First day and I've successfully not spent any money.

I must admit I wasn't exactly looking forward to this game before this blog-post. It looked good, but I wasn't particularily intruiged.
Now, though, you've got me. I've been hooked. I love everything I can think of about this system, and am greatly looking forward to hearing more concerning anything about the game.

G'luck!

Will buy it to help development, won't play until you start feeling you've implemented most features you feel are integral to the base game.

That looks ridiculously intuitive. Just one thing, though... Will it also be controllable with the mouse? While this looks like it works, having mouse-control would speed things up a bit.

I'm planning on pre-ordering this any day now, but I'm wondering... If this game does get on steam, will people who have already bought the game get a steam key? That'd be much appreciated.
I understand if you can't say anything about that yet, but it is something to keep in mind

What.
I did think the detail in the objects you've showed us was surprisingly high, but this just looks ridiculous... Ridiculously good.
Just one thing though, the grass on the path is a bit much, or rather, it looks like it's coming out of nothing because of the contrast between the color of the path and the grass. Might want to give them a slightly more sandy color.

Have you tried using a hurdy gurdy? I found that those work wonderfully in any folk track.

Nice team you got there, looks like you have tons of fun working there (though I'm sure you have serious-time as well).
Nice to see a little more about what Unity can do, I just started with it and was about to look up what games I know actually use Unity.

Well, Terry Pratchett says that generally only a dwarven couple actually knows which of them is the male, and which the female. Hardly any loss there.

Newsflash: Oblivion, a 5 year old game, looks as good as Crysis 2 does. Developers in tears.

It doesn't seem to be working for me. I've installed Crysis just for this, so there are no other mods which might be conflicting. It's in its default location. I tried both the x64 and the x84 launcher, but both show a black screen in which nothing happens, until I either press spacebar, which makes it stop entirely, or go to the taskmanager, which just shows a "crysis is not responding" text.
I don't think I did anything wrong, but please tell me I did so I can fix this.
