At the beginning no, that's for sure. Maybe later. But all in all we are not sure if it's a good idea to release source code. People could use secret settings to profit ingame. So whether or not we release something, we would keep some secret parts away from that.

There will be some sort of economy backend for sure. But we don't focus on that. We focus on player interaction without making it to complex or stressed. Since we contentrate on that we don't have details about bank system yet.

1) The good feeling of being a long time supporter. Honestly: People who expect to get lot's of benefits don't match our thoughts about a (mod) community. We don't work for money and we don't accept any demands. We think that people have their own interest in helping and contributing. We will give credit to testers and stuff but everything else seems a bit strange.

2) Of course. Some basic information on how we focus on platforms:

ModDB: Answering questions, smaller discussions

Steam: Collecting suggestions, building up the connections to players, discussions within the group, answering private messages. Since Steam is the worst and bugged software ever we don't focus on that anymore. Steam is not a good platform for building up a community. There are some suggestions over there already which we may comment outside of Steam soon.

Gamerations.net: Discussions and suggestions in our forums. Best way to get in contact directly. People can sign up very fast and join the forums. Later this will be our main platform for news, support and stuff so it's good to be there.

Youtube: We are commenting videos if we know them. If we miss any: Tell us, we read all comments.

Twitch&Discord;: Just a very new idea. Doing some Q&A if there is enough while playing M&B. Since we have Discord people could talk to us directly. Not sure about any details yet.

We don't know since the game isn't released yet. We aim for very early release versions with a strategy to add more features on the fly. But we can't predict how long it will take to make the first playable version. Too much is completely unknown about the engine by now. We don't want to make this a multiple years process for sure.

Except you carry a big banner or shield with you. That's also a thing we want to bring more in the game. Like all this heraldic stuff. Factions can decide if they want to shine like a star or act like a inkognito leather clothes group. We think there is a lot of room for discussions with the community on this point.

Ah...properties. You mean private properties like houses? Can't tell you much about that. We have 3 ideas atm:

a) Like in PW/FW - just buying stuff on the map
b) Dynamic map - updated by us. You can buy "map features" with ingame money or goods (won't be cheap!). If you leave the server the house will stay but slowly break down if nobody buys it again
c) Placing stuff in realtime on the map. Not sure about this because it requires a lot of smart programming and we don't know much about the engine yet

We don't stick to roleplay too closely. We want it to be sort of balanced between survival, combat, adventurism and roleplay. So on the one hand you may see icons for faction members or have the option to display some sort of name tag (essential stuff - gameplay would be bad without this) or see your own stats but on the other hand there won't be too much information on other players so you have to ask around and get in touch with people every now and then.

Not sure on every detail, but we know roughly what we are aiming for. Let's say our aim is "communication" and "excitement". We try to figure out the right tools for this without giving players the impression that they only do this to use this tools but to have a great playing experience.

So you may end up in a faction with this strange and mysterious guy who's name is unknown and who's stats you don't know. You see him crafting weapons and tools. One day in a fight you notice he is very good at fighting. So you end up with the information that he may has a 50:50 skill set for crafting/fighting but very low skill on every other aspect. But you can't be sure unless you talk to him.

Or maybe you have this unknown, factionless women covered in "ninja like" medieval clothes collecting mushrooms all the day. What's up with her? What is her role? Does she belong to any faction or group? What skills does she have? Is she some sort of healer or alchemist? Will she kill you one day with a well placed, poisoned arrow? Does she just collect for a living? You never know unless you stalk or talk to her. Or you meet someone who knows anything about her.

We think that a well balanced game like this will provide great gameplay experience and interesting situations. We want to open up space for roleplay which lives from situations and stuff happening. No hardcore roleplay because that's dusty like a desert (you will be able to do it anyways). But you must be aware that you can end up in a war by any time when things get hot around you, your group or the whole map.

So there seems to be an asian community. Hard to understand what they are talking about at 120.27.183.199. Asian friends, if you read this comment, please get involved. We can communicate in English.

This question has already been asked in the comment section of the interview video. So I will just c&p my two comments/answers here: [No.1] Hi, we are reading comments here :) If we can afford and manage it, we will try to realize this. [No.2] We have a good and cost reduced server provider with perfect connection setup for central Europe already. Servers for other parts of the world will be a challenge. But that's a thing you can change very quickly at any time if there's money and enough players. Where can we find this community? Everytime I hear of it, it sounds like some mysterious underground group which never says something in public. Please give me some links if there are any. Or tell them they are welcome to comment and follow here.

Our admins will be absolutely neutral. We are long time PW/FW players and know pretty well how bad administration and RDM can ruin a server (or even whole mod). We will prevent a lot of rule breakes with scripting. Our aim is to make the mod run without any live-administration at all. If we can reach this: We will see

We will use as much of the main game as possible. Or even improve some features. Smithing is a big thing. Our aim is to make it more realistic and interesting and reduce income. in PW/FW smiths could earn tons of money for clicking some mouse buttons. Interesting mini games for jobs is a big point in our feature list. We will try to make them as realistic and cool as possible.

For instance realistic mining where you have to hit the pieces of ore directly and with ores rolling down the hill you have to catch/collect instead of boring loading bars. Or weapon stats which depend on how good the blacksmith did his hammering and if he sticked with the heating/cooling process/order. There's a huge amount of ideas we have with those mini games.

To be honest: There is no new material from Taleworlds which would give us news about modding. We can't plan much on smithing yet but we try to build up visions and ideas to include some of them later if the modding tools offer the possibility to do so. And as I already said: Making even standard actions as interesting as possible is one of our main aims. Player experience is very important for us.

Calm down dude ;) And current PW community is not the community we are looking for. Tbh: PW is mostly PvP and RDM those days. That will not be possible with our mod. We will prevent and limit this with scripting.

From scratch. There will be some similarities with PW, no doubt. But this def. will not be PW 2.0 or so. Please read our texts. We explain it in some certain amount of detail already. There will be an interview with Resonsant soon (Youtuber, working for Bannerlord Steam group).

Publishing the mod for own use it not planned. We want to keep things in our own, good hands to prevent community destruction by bad administrated servers. We may change our mind when we think it's good for all.

Hey Alexander. The last video (PC Gamers event) showed that the sitting script is integrated already in the native game. Other stuff for roleplaying is a big point we will integrate as well. Everything will be craftable of course. If you want to be the king people have to produce all your luxury first. ;) Finally there will be much more decorations for your character. We discuss decorating and upgrading your own houses but that's a thing we can't finish yet just with thinking about it. We need the full game and the modding tools for this to decide wether it will be a thing in our mod.

Thanks for your mapping offer. Just contact us when the time is right. You could do native multiplayer maps as well. We will most likely run a native server as well.
