This is one of those things that I instantly became attracted to. Just like with Minecraft and Dwarf Fort, I love it whenever updates are released, and I can't wait for the release of this. Keep up the awesome work!
I'm not saying the source engine is bad, I love it! I've got most, if not all, of Valve's games, and I love the moddablity of Source. All I'm saying is that so far, this just looks like an exceptional mod. Like Ztormi said, there have been other mods with seemingly better quality, but I may be speaking too soon. It's only 1 trailer, and I haven't played it.
I'm not completely throwing this game under the bus.
I love this; I was there when the first thread popped up on FP, and the mapping has gotten amazing. But you can't slide by with just invisible ladders and other "tricks" to give the illusion of free running.
But everything still does look like sex. Keep that part up, cause it's awesome.

Wouldn't this be better suited as a mod? To me, this seems like it would be one of those few HL2 mods that are of great quality, but it doesn't seem like that superb of a retail game. That's just my opinion. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not retail good.

I can't even believe that this is the Source engine. I think the only odd thing with the head bob animation was the lack of weapon movement with the camera movement.
Oh I do hope that the blue sparkles are his visor shattering into pieces. That would be awesome.

They still all seem just a bit too slow, like they're floating.
I think that they all fall too slowly. All of them fly out way too far as well. They also all seem to fall in the same clumps, maybe make them spread out more?

You won't be seeing the combine elite. At least you shouldn't. The elite weren't at the seven hour war. In fact, none of the 'combine' you see in HL2 would be at the seven hour, except for maybe advisors, striders, hunters, anything synth related.
Make sure it's not fullbright when you release it.
Even with the first release of SMOD: Outbreak there weren't any ironsights, but soon, someone on the forums made some for all the weapons, and pretty much everyone used them. Just look on the forums a few days after release, or maybe even on release, and you'll probably find some ironsights.
I can't even begin to imagine how many Gmodders are gonna request this as a SWEP the day it's released.
Good job, I really look forward to playing this.
