The mod is not demanding on CPU, but can be rather demanding on GPU. However, Skyrim itself can be demanding on CPU, particularly if you use mods that draw lots of new assets, like high-density grass mods and high-quality LOD mods. Anyway, let me know what you think! :)

This particular mod only works for Skyrim, though there may be a version of ENB series that works for that Warhammer 40K game. I suggest poking around the ENB forums, here: Enbseries.enbdev.com

The SSIL is fairly dramatic in the demo video, but it is actually less intense as per my recommended settings and it can be further reduced to taste --just reduce one value until it feels right to you. It also works nicely with SSAO, they are kind of like two sides of the same coin...

Hmm, well if you have the Natural Lighting and Atmospherics.esp lower in your load order than Climates of Tamriel, this might work ok, though it may look weird when any CoT-specific weather type loads. Anyway, if it's working for you then right on! :)

Yay, some feedback! Glad you like it :)

It's true, ENB can be very demanding, but like you said, it can also be adjusted to perform on almost any hardware (if you are willing to give up some effects). Thanks!

This mod is compatible with most other visual mods, just not other mods that change weather. I use this along with 200+ other mods and don't have any issues. A list of the visual mods I use can be found at the bottom of the mods page on the Nexus: Nexusmods.com?

That being said, it does take some work to install 200+ mods to get your game looking nice, though in my mind it is worth it. There are many configuration options to choose from based on your particular hardware and desired level of performance, so a '1 size fits all' overhaul installer does not seem likely. Also, all the individual modders would have to allow for their mods to be included....

I'm happy to assist with any issue you have with installing the mod, though I will need more specific details in order to help diagnose the problem. I recommend following the instructions in the included README file, as MODDB would not allow me to include everything in the mod summary page. You can also check the comments thread on the Nexus page for this mod, as there is a lot of discussion there as well:

Lol, sorry folks, I had moved on from Half-Life in favor of Fallout, and it seems the latest ENB binaries are not compatible with Valve's new SteamPipe format for their games. As such, this mod may never see the light of day. I'll take a look and see if anything is possible... but don't hold your breath.

Lol... this mod does not 'just' lower your FPS. Otherwise I would have called the mod 'FPS Killer'. It adds a number of very sophisticated graphic shader effects which require a more powerful CPU and GPU than the vanilla game. I am able to run the mod at 30-60 FPS, no problem. If you are having performance issues, why not try the LITE version of the mod. Should cause you no issues.

Sorry, not sure what to do about the Alt-Tab issue. As for the loading logo, I am also not sure how to modify that as it is embedded in the ENBseries d3d9.dll used for this mod. Anyone out there familiar with decompiling a .dll file? :P

Thanks for the comments. I haven't played Half-Life Source in almost a year now, so don't remember where the texture packs are from. Some are from FPSbananna, the rest I just found by Google hunting.

No, this mod will not work with the Orange Box or any other AppID 420 games. I do have a version of Enhanced Shaders for the Orange Box engine, but it only supports limited effects.

I am unable to rebuild the d3d9.dll from this mod (I do not know how to assemble shaders), so I cannot do anything about this, sorry. You might find some answers on enbdev.com

Hi, the textures are not a part of this mod, sorry. Don;t remember where I got them, was a while ago. Many were from FPSbananna as I recall...

No, this mod just affects the visual effects of the game, nothing to do with movement speed.

I think you must be using the Ultimate version of the Enhanced Shaders mod if you are getting any slowdown. If so, you can try lowering some of your other settings (AA, resolution), or disabling the SSAO effect (most demaning), or using the Lite version of the mod instead.

If you are getting slowdown with the Lite version, there must be some other issue...

Um... this is probably the very best mod available for Half-Life source. If you read the instructions, you'll see it is ridiculously simple to install. Perhaps above your skill level?

Hi, the mods are almost done. Not sure what 'bugs' you are referring to?

Also, not using any Flashlight battery mod, that's just GOrdon's suit-power.

Not sure if it works with all Source games, as I only have HL:Source and DM. Feel free to try ;)

The included .dll was originally made for Vampire: Bloodlines, also a Source Engine game.

It IS so bleeping awesome, rest assured ;)

It makes Half-Life looks like Half-Life 1.5 or something ;)
