Guys, I'm watching this for a long time now. Must say I'm a real DK fan since the beginning. Blutoniumboy is doing an awesome job and everything looks still promising.

Hope you will get this project done, I know coding can sometimes be a pain in....

Hey! The game automatically assigns the first two detected pads to both players. Since you only need 5 buttons (and an analog stick), pretty much any gamepad should just work fine. However I couldn't try out my 360 pads since I do not have a dongle for it, but I'm quite sure this shouldn't be a problem.
Rumble support isn't planned, sorry.
