Speaking of tetris, I played a flash game the other day that was like tetris, only 3d. I was so furious I almost smashed my monitor. ******* theives!@

BTW, I do not feel that Ghostface crossed the line. And I dont think you can judge whether or not he did without actually playing the game. Reading a brief description of a game and looking at a couple screenshots does not give you enough info to make assertions like this.

Taking the exact same idea, altering it, then claiming credit for it is different from taking a similar idea and borrowing a bit of inspiration from outside sources.

In the creative world, people are constantly borrowing ideas from one another. Its part of the process of creative evolution.

Here is a 'for instance' for Guest:
Im working on a map. As part of my creative process I play a number of other maps looking for inspiration and ideas. I see an idea in another map that would work well in mine. I 'borrow' this idea, incorporate it into my map, and tailor it to suit my needs. The result is a better implementation of the original idea.

Am I a theif? Or just someone who drew inspiration from elsewhere? Did i just steal an idea and tweak it? Or did I incorporate a good idea, improve upon it, and thus, evolve the concept further?

Your answer will be based on the degree to which ideas were borrowed and implemented - and whether or not YOU feel that the line was crossed. The line is a subjective one, so there is no clear cut answer as to whether or not Ghostface crossed it.
