This looks fairly interesting, will keep an eye out.

Seeing the screenshots, I am immediately reminded of Dwarf Fortress.
I am thoroughly interested how Ultima Ratio Regum will turn out to be.

I'm pretty sure it's actually a play on the actual (now-extinct) "Megalodon", with "O" added just to make an "omega", to possibly give a feel of a giant landshark.

In theory, you're right, but I think the developers simply meant Omega + Megalodon. Or something like that.
