Right, the 2 'flashing things' are the eyes of a bloodsucker, but if you see them this close you won't live to tell.^^
I don't know why but those eyes just remind me of the helghast helmet in Killzone for some reason :/
Well, that's how they always look, unless you're playing on static lighting, then they're red...
Any chance you could swap them to white for static? They look great :)
it's more of a bug than a feature, all mutant eyes should be red in any render mode.
