Yeah, i remember someone on amk forum had the same problem, wich is solved later, i will check my messages, i have solution somewere there, but i remeber, that new anims must be added in some script, camp one...
I had the same problem in CS with cigarettes and binoculars. NPCs don't need the actual object to play the animation, so they'll smoke without having a cigarette, they'll play guitar without having one, etc....
To see the model, you have to add the item to the corresponding NPC (in their inventory) via all.spawn or the xml files.
tried restoring old camp animations, could get the animations to work, but so far no luck on spawning the actual items they should be holding in their hands :/

it's walker scheme, not camp. Camp animations work fine with items.
But why items are not spawned??? That is very odd, there is no reason for them not to be spawned...
