For now I went in the units folder and edited the Carno's "sleep drive" to 0. This way he doesn't get stuck in that loop where he sleeps. I can also sedate him from a helicopter and force him to go to sleep as well so this bug isn't a big deal. I cannot wait until update 1.9!

Hello fdinick. One more bug that I have found is that my Carno freezes and will not move after he gets sleepy. He will behave normally when he leaves the hatchery, and will hunt and defend himself. However when he gets sleepy he gets stuck in a loop of just standing, and can't do anything. I hope this helps. I'm not sure if you are experiencing any of these errors. I'm playing on site B and this is where I've encountered these errors. Thanks for all your work. This is my favorite JPOG mod so far!

Oh and yes I am using 1.8. With 1.7 my raptors would move correctly.

I have uninstalled JPOG 4 times now and reinstalled it, then copied the data folder. I am playing on Site B and all your dinosaurs work great, but the raptors still will not move. I have made sure to reinstall several times. All other dinosaurs are behaving correctly. The Raptors and Deinonychus just stand in one spot. I saw someone else in the comments with this problem. Not sure what to do about it. I still love the mod and thanks for your work.

I am having the same problem with raptors and Deinonychus will come out of the hatchery and then will not move. They will come out and stand in a single file line and just won't move. Is this happening on any of your tests? I'll try to reset the game and try it again later.

Only the largest dino, on my computer does this. The huge Mamenchisaurus neck will elongate at certain angles. It isn't a big deal to me.

Did you guys make the Troodon, and the sounds? HOLY COW that is my favorite modded dinosaur ever. They are just so unique. The sounds are incredible, and actually freak me out just a little bit. Seriously this is one of the best overall mods in a good while.

I really like this mod! Great work. My only wish is I could have about 2 or 3 mods installed at once. I'm gonna really dig into this one tonight but so far I love the models, etc.. Even without a real playthrough I can tell it's high quality.

Fuyuki359 WOuld you be willing to upload your data file and share it with me? I'm decent or as good as the next guy at adding one mod to the game, but when it comes to multiple mods I always screw it up. This is so far the most excited I've been about a mod since JWEP. For some reason I didn't love JWEP after I installed it. Anyways, just thought I'd ask.

First of all this is a great mod. It came out with the indoraptor much sooner than I figured we'd see it with a modder. So great job guys. Now a couple of questions if I may ask? Which file in the units folder is Rexy? I see the T Rex file but I'm not sure which one is Rexy. Also which file is the Carnotaurus? Thanks for any help.

I have a small problem or question. The T Rex 40 shows in the hatchery as a magnificent orange striped creature (great skin) but it is hatching out as a regular colored T Rex? Is this supposed to happen, was the skin not completed or do I need to switch some files? THanks for any help.

Sir I am having a horrible time of getting the mod to work. I know it's my error somewhere as I'm the type that almost needs visual instructions on everything. I have followed the steps but somewhere I think I've confused something. The first thing I can think of is, when I extract the Jedi Fighter mod and the Open Jedi file will all the single files go into the gamedata, directly in that gamedata folder? Or should I just be adding the individual folders into the gamedata folder? If you understand what I mean? Should I go to the gamedata folder and physically see the Jedi Fighter Mod folder, or should that folder be fully extracted into the gamedata? Or does it even matter? What my problem is, every time I click on the final step in your instructions I see a quick little command prompt, then it immediately disappears. I do not have an icon in particular for the Jedi Fighter mod and I don't guess there is supposed to be one. In this line of your "readme" file, I do not exactly know what it means to do:
openjk.x86 +set sv_pure 1 +set fs_basepath "D:/games/LucasArts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/GameData" +set fs_game jedifighter +set g_gametype 5
I really want to try this but due to my own error I'm having problems. Thanks for any help you can offer.
