Great Stuff. If you finish the campaign, iron out the kinks, and get rid of all the Duke Nukem 3D bits then I'll probably retire my copy of the original DOS game and play this instead.

Seriously, this screenshot alone is one of the scariest damn things I've ever seen. If you don't complete this game then I will use my psychic abilities to fill your nightmares with pixelated, undead spacemen.
Can this game be installed and played offline?
Would I be able to purchase this game in a store, or is it exclusive to STEAM?
Fighting the dogs is overly hard because they phase through and move with the player. It'hard to tell when the player has been injured, so perhaps you should have the health bar flash red when damage is taken. The controls are overly sensitive in the FPS section, and it's easy to get caught on the walls. I do think you should use different zombie sprites in the FPS section since they're sidescroller sprites and look like they're sidestepping towards you. The zombies' heads look like helmets.
Critisism done, now for the praise. Great style and really fun to play. The blood effects are bright and colorful and the atmosphere is effective for a game with such old school graphics. I think you should have some clouds pass overhead since an empty, black sky is kinda boring. The animations for the sprites are good, especially the death animations. Good use of the NES Darkman music, you should find more music like that. The weapons function well, you should add a shotgun for close, fast kills. That, and you just don't make a zombie game without a shotgun. This'll be good, keep at it and make it long and bloody. If you need a cheesy yet badass story to go with it, I could write one for you.
I think this is a great idea. I played one zombie game that looked really archaic like this, but it's simple, old-school graphics made it easy to render some spectacular blood effects that would literally flood the levels. My only concern is the FPS sections since they appear to use the same tiny sprites the platform sections do.
Seriously, when is somebody going to make a version of Blood that works with Windows XP? They made one for Duke Nukem 3D, so why not Blood? Blood is twice the game that Duke Nukem 3D is. Yes, I know about Transfusion, and at the rate it's being made it might as well never come out. That and the fact that it's a fully 3D remake of blood and doesn't look very good. All I want is the original game updated to work on XP instead of using some choppy DOS emulator to play it.
Sorry I have to ask, but are those the 2D versions of the QUAKE zombies? I remember them being used in a QUAKE Total conversion of Doom 2. Also, the chainsaw looks like the one from Serious Sam. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I'd just like to know. Will this be a standalone game or a total conversion of another game?
Is this mod going to have original monsters and levels, or is it just going to be regular DOOM with new weapons?
I'm trying to play the game without STEAM, and it won't work. The menu works, but when I try to start a new game or the hazard course the game just crashes.
