I have the same issue as onomastikon, where I can't get any capital letters in my hero's name. I have the Windows version.

I've been a fan of Illwinter's Dominions games since Dom 2, and Dom 3 is still on my computer for occasionally playing :) I've pre-ordered CoE 3, as I'm sure it'll be just as fun. I'm wondering, though, if I have to install the Desura software (like Steam?) to be able to play, or can I just download the game (like GamersGate?) when it's available?
