That guide requires me to have an older version of soulstorm. I bought it literally today (thanks for the waste of money UA team) presumably after the update, so this doesn't help.

After installing this mod, when I launch the game it's just the vanilla soulstorm. When I try to activate UA in the 'game manager' it gives me an error saying 'Failed to activate the requested game!'

I looked around and it seems everyone has this problem, but the devs are doing nothing.

You could have added a disclaimer saying "hey this mod is broken and we're doing nothing to fix it gg." Maybe then I wouldn't have wasted twenty dollars on Soulstorm just to play this.

Every single time I try to download this file, as soon as it gets to 100% it says "the download was interrupted", and when I press resume, it says it couldn't be downloaded and I need to retry. No matter how many times I press "retry" it gives me the exact same "ROTRBeta_18.zip couldn't be downloaded" message. I need to download the file again and wait "Greater than 12 hours" (because ModDB's servers are a ******* joke), only to get the exact same result each time.

Must have tried to install it 13 times but I got the same result every single time.

Help?

Looks like the barracks from Star Wars: Empire at War

I don't understand.

I've downloaded 10 gig files in under half an hour but a 2 gig file says it'll take OVER TWELVE HOURS.

It's been like this for the past week. I want to play Third Age Total War god damnit!

When I try to start this game I get a white screen with the "valve" music playing, and when it ends I hear an error noise and the game immediately crashes with no message. I have CSS, HL2, HL2DM, and HL2LC installed. Also DoDS and HLS, if that counts.

Help?

I keep getting an error saying something about how it couldn't download the prerequisites. Next to them it says "Error: 12029"

Okay, I tried redownloading the file, which normally took only a few minutes to install, but now it's saying the download will take, and I quote, SIX HOURS AND 48 MINUTES.

Is this some kind of JOKE!?!?? Why does it all of the sudden say it will take SIIIIIX HOOOOOUUUURRRS?!?!??!

No wait.. now it says 10 hours!

TEN. HOURS.

I can't get past "Copying new files."

I left it running for 5 hours but when I came back it still said "copying new files."

Why is this happening?

"Looking" doesn't exactly help when you've already did that and it still doesn't work ;)

It doesn't work for me. It keeps saying it's not valid.

I installed this correctly but there were no changes whatsoever. Just the default, vanilla game. Must have installed it at least four times (Took me like two hours)

Help?

Some ships appear as white balls of light, and some are gigantic white squares.

Also the 'ship damage' textures are squares that just look really ugly.

Did I install the mod wrong?
