Ah that explains it. Could never let him win and take Olgierd's soul who I consider to be the victim in the story. Sure he messed up and made a deal with the devil but his circumstances lead to it.
I solved O'Dim's riddle as well. And then I merely checked what happens when Gaunter wins and takes Everec's life. It turns out that O'Dim had valuable information about Ciri and I decided to heed his sensible advice. Honestly, Olgierd was irredeemable(and he had it coming), but I saved him nonetheless.
I used a video editor to put this together. I merely added Gaunter O'Dim's voice.
