I used a video editor to put this together. I merely added Gaunter O'Dim's voice.
Damn I had no idea/memory of GOD ever giving that advice. How did I miss that!?
You have to let him take Olgierd's soul, then Gaunter will grant you one wish.

Ah that explains it. Could never let him win and take Olgierd's soul who I consider to be the victim in the story. Sure he messed up and made a deal with the devil but his circumstances lead to it.
I solved O'Dim's riddle as well. And then I merely checked what happens when Gaunter wins and takes Everec's life. It turns out that O'Dim had valuable information about Ciri and I decided to heed his sensible advice. Honestly, Olgierd was irredeemable(and he had it coming), but I saved him nonetheless.
Maybe we'll see O'Dim in Cyber-punk 2077.
