Are you really trying to run the BG42_Final_RC.exe?
All the other parts install automatically if you run part one.
When you get the "publisher is unknown" message, there should still be the option to run the file anyway.

Just keep all parts in the same folder. Then you start the install with part one (the BG42_Final_RC.exe file). It will then install the content from all the .bin files.
Don't try to open the bin files, just run the .exe.

It doesn't freeze, it just doesn't show the progress.

I'm using a pretty high end computer I bought one year ago, but I prefer playing on DX8 mode to get the, in my opinion, true Oblivion Lost feeling.
I want the game to look like it did on the old videos from 2003.

Mutant attacks are going to be way scarier now. Imagine hearing them rush towards you, but being almost invisible because of the grass. You just start firing everywhere, lol.
