Not sure if the team is open to any suggestion, but since they increased the draw distance it seems weird to me that the range of the weapons such as the Revolver seems too small now.

That would be my only suggestion so far. Oh and there's a bug that disables the dirty lenses regardless of the settings.

Don't get me wrong, the mod is pretty outstanding as it is, it's just the little things that bother me.

This happens to me too, as well as the dirty lens hud not functioning even when hl2mmod_pp_lensdirt is set to 1. Tried every form of reinstalling imagined to fix it with no luck.

Hi Rivarez,

Just wanted to say thanks for dedicating time to make mods for old classics like fear, even after all these years.

Your last FEAR mod works nicely with MMod, just need to get that FPS square out of the way to keep the flow of immersion.

Hello, nice mod! Just a problem: I keep seeing a 'FPS' square on the top right corner whenever I load or save game. Can you fix that?

Also, the mod just doesn't reduces the recoil of the weapons, it straight up nulifies it, making it a bit too easy specially in the intro.

I wish I could keep the decals, bodies, bullet holes, blood, shell casings and debris despawn time without affecting the weapons.

CoC needs something like this, the default voices get too boring too quick because everyone sounds the same. Sadly, compativility patches are for AO v4 and DXQ 1.17...

Could you do it? It would make sense and add a lot to the immersion to see a few Military using it in the Zone... in a small percentage.

Also, why not change the preview to something more serious like I.imgur.com

I overlooked the mod a couple of times because of it, its a really good mod and the preview should reflect that so people can see. Just a thought.

Hey Nour, I've been enjoying the mod quite a bit but there's still something bothering me... I've noticed a couple of people pointed this out too previously in the comments, Stolos (page 11) and gabrielonuris (page 15) both reffer to the problem with the Tourist Breakfast animation.

The animation for the item is nothing like the one showcased in the description, the model used for the tin is different and static, the animation shows the player opening the tin and eating the contents with a spoon, but the tin doesn't actually opens and the spoon is invisible.

So, my question would be, where can we find the animation shown in the demo for the Tourist Breakfast animation? It really bothers me because the animation used for the demo in the description is sooo good but sadly, is nowhere to be found.

Looks great with a little bit of tweaking, only problem is sometimes when I minimize the game it crashes.

Line was:

Changed to:

local se_anm_obj = alife_object(anm_obj:id())

Tried to loot the mutants again and the game kept going! Everything seems to be in order this time :)

Okay, editing line 242 resulted in the same error log.

I've recreated the weapon heat fatal error on a clean installation of the mod without any optional files. The error occurs when using machine guns. Fire continiously then quickly reload, game crashes...

The crash log I posted earlier was triggered by having set the animations to full and then using an item that would trigger the animation. The crash log I get when the weapon overheats is different, I'll recreate it and paste the log so you can take a look at it as soon as I get home, I'll also try changing line 242 and report back.

The ones I can remember are Duty's AKs and the starter Monolith pistol.

I've just tried reinstalling everything without the c4 variant and both problems persists.

Also, reloading certain guns while using the weapon overheating toggle also results in a crash.

Hello, my game crashes at the end of every consumeable item animation and damage animation. I've installed this mod last on top of everything with the respective compatibility fix. I've also installed 'optional_conserva_animation' and 'optional_C4explosive_Van_AO_OWR_OA_ONLY!', after reinstalling without them the problem persists.

I'm using the following mods:
- Arsenal Overhaul
- Outfit Addon
- and other texture/sound mods.
