I like to create GoldSRC maps, especially love the not so detailed, old-school style. I also translate STALKER mods to English in my free time. Has anyone noticed that this section from the classic ETC II mod is an almost perfect recreation of the location we see in this pre-release screenshot of HL? Same textures, the fans, water on the sides, the lights, it even has the same enemies present there.
I think Dave Johnston, the creator, was browsing images for inspiration and came across this one. Or maybe he simply has a passion for the pre-release HL like so many of us, who knows?
