I agree. Make the machine slide less. Give the feeling that the machine really strives to advance and gain speed. Also, when you add the dust particles, the effect will be even better.

The car looks and behaves very nice!

Hi Shakes,

As usual, your feedback is right on point. It's my fault here since I never really shown any of the open areas in the game. There are some massive ones in chapter 2 and 3, but I forgot to actually showcase them.

As an apology I will include a large open area in the next video :)

Did you played the demo to the part where you get to some levitating rocks? That is what you mean by open area? Or you ment more like actual nature? :)

Hello Cat Bear,

The truth is that at this point, controlled marketing for the game is best since the game is not yet ready to go viral. There are still things to add, balance or fix thus it is easy at this point to ruin a player's experience. Imagine what would happen if many people would try it now, but the game would have a hidden game breaking bug.

Regarding what you said about the weapon, you will see how actually safe you can feel once you have the pistol :) . Remember that in the playground you receive all he weapons / ammunition and you can control when and where you fight the monsters. The situation will be completly different in the game ;)

My apologies. My short burst of anger was more directed towards the sudden Guest that appeared.

There are a couple of points you guys did not specify, for example the game being completly free. Which is a big difference.

I know about Eve giving away their assets for free projects since the CryEngine 2 projects using these assets.

As long as you are respecting other peoples work I don't see why this wouldn't turn out as an interesting project.

If they intervene or not, it's their choice. Most companies take down even non-profit projects. I'm curious to see if this is not just another 'make a quick buck' scheme.

I disliked the fact that they lie saying that CCP let them use assets and use the games name. No company that spent years and millions of dollars on their flagship project, would allow unknown and fan-devs to play around with their assets.

If I am wrong, that would be good news for the devs as they will have a successful project milking over an established lp.

As for the ships in planet atmosphere part... Can you please tell me, why we don't replace the ships with flying pigs? I mean, at what point it becomes ridiculous?

It's not even consistent with EVE online (which is pretty scientific based) since in EVE you have ORBITAL (as in, outside the planets atmosphere and gravitation well) strikes.

Anyway, I lost enough time with this. Time will tell who is right.

Yes I did. I was referring to using the franchise name.
Anyway I doubt it that you have any permission, but that will be CCPs business.

Also you should change a bit the description. A titan is larger than 8 km. The smallest is 13 Km and the largest is 18Km. You should do some research before you copy the EVE universe.

I wont even bother trying to explain how a 13 Km long ship can stay within the gravitation well of a planet.

Aha, I see. I think you should stick to it as far as I can see you have the talent. I don't know how well the game's mechanics will work, but it sounds original enough to keep people interested.

Hi Borzi and thank you very much for the open and detailed feedback.

I understand what you said and noted down the possible ways to fix this, I have only one question regarding your third point. You said that level design felt clonky and pretty linear. Could you detail a bit, maybe offer a comparison?
I tought at creating the level simpler for the firs part of the game, so that the player doesn't miss on the exploration part because he must first accommodate with the game's systems.

Here is my feedback:
1. nice art style
2. awkward recoil animation. If it was intended to look retro, I don't think it fits the general feeling of the game.
3. good idea with the dog companion, should focus more on expanding on that
4. I love the comments your character makes.
5. More monsters, with more abilities. Also make them look as distinct from zombies as possible. The kids these days compare every game with DayZ and Rust.
6. Would be interesting to see some puzzles depending on your dog, physics, platforming etc..
7. Very professional kickstarter video. Made me resonate with your life.

:)) Nice run. I appreciated the fact that you didn't gave up when the game gave you a hard time.

You should know that each weapon and enemy has certain properties. So you can't harm a certain enemy with certain weapons. You will have to experiment though ;)

How long it took you to complete the level?

That is great, becauase that was the intention. The way the items work and the way the story unfolds will be similar to Clive Barker's: Undying, a great horror game in my opinion.

:)), you don't lose it. The crystal ball is just inactive. Press 7 to activate it again. I've got this from different people, I will do something so that the last active weapon is active again when you respawn.

:)) I really enjoyed watching you play. At one point I was afraid that I made puzzles too hard.

The 'ray gun' as you call it cannot damage physical entities, only ethereal. In the final version, you wont have it available from the beginning as you will have to collect it as any other item in game. But here in the demo is available from the get go so you can go nuts with it :)

The game has very nice physics implemented in it. Also, the puzzles are very nice, but at the last puzzle, the one with the thruster and the cube wall, you could've just used the gravity or the magnetic tool, instead of the programming tool. Correct?

So while the idea was awesome, there was a simpler way to get passed the obstacle.

No starters, is not dead :) You can see in the news section that it is in full works and updated every week. The download will come in about a week maybe two maximum.

It will be a demo version with some playground elements.
