Build is an amazing gaming engine in my opinion. You can make games for MS-DOS with it. Sadly, that's the only platform you can use it to develop for... :(

The Valve HTC Vive is a MASTERPIECE. It works with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and variations of Linux.
The Xbox controller is great. It works with the Microsoft Xbox, Microsoft Windows, and many Virtual and Augmented reality devices.
