We are developing on Unity, so yes, it's absolutely possible that game will be available on linux. We want to cover as much platforms as possible!

Actually, we have the "molecat leader" (the orange one) - he is the main character, who saves other molecats. All others will differ visually (they have different skins and can wear various hats/backpacks/masks), but they all will have the same role. But all of them can pick up various items, which somewhat define their role during the walkthrough.
