Looks like a very nice mod, unfortunately I haven't been able to play it yet, people get really anal when it comes to "high" pings... can't find a server with people on, running the latest version that gives me a ping below 200... actually most of the servers don't give me a ping too much above 200, but all it takes is for my ping to get to 201 for someone to kick me... even though it will have NO effect on the other players, it will start affecting them only in REALLY high pings like 500 or so... that really upsets me, I live in brasil and over here people only care to set up servers for 2 things CS and DoD period......

Great one, it really lives up to it's predecessor, but I'll wait for a patch to fix the major balance issues, funny enough you guys seem to have gotten everything right from the hl1 mod, even the shortcommings... the vikings are still weaker, so noone will use them, in the end you'll have a hight stack of knight players, some pirates and pretty much no viking, knights are TOO much overpowered and kegers are downright annoying.

I really tghink this needs team auto-balancing.

you know, this terrible comments are the reason i see no future for free moding, i mean here you have a great mod, with retail quality to it, and yet its free, these guys worked hard to bring this to us FOR FREE, and what do they get in return? all these retards conplaining when they have absolutely no right to, practical and usefull criticsm and conplaining(A.K.A whyning like a girl) are two complete different things, you don't like it? try and do better then.

i mean wheres the incentive to moders? a while back even if the mod got problems people use to praise moders for their effort, but then moding became to common and people became to goddman picky about it

i foresee the end of great free mods to all games, look at steam for a example, if you got a good solid mod valve will distribut it for you(and take they'r cut of course) this ease of distribution is the final barrier that was blocking all them great small developers and such.

all i can say to the devs is congratulations for this great mod, and thanks for the insane ammount of time and effort you must have put into this.

Spent all of yesterday and some of today playing, only i have a few suggestions to make smaller versions or the current maps like in bf2 so like a 6 player version a 12 player version etc. Because i think that would reduce lag quite a lot until the issue is proeprly addressed. Also add an mp2 player built into the game until you have sorted out the sounds in the game, because so of the sounds are rubbish, some give me a headache and some are from half-life2. yeah unfortunetly source just can't handle huge open areas well, when you play hl2 you can notice that, they use all sorts of tricks to make you think you are indeed in a massive open area but in fact they're all very small areas(thats why all the damn loading on the game, give 20 steps, loading screen, give another 10, loading screen and so on and on...), source sucks for this type of mod, bah source sucks period, of course people with uber hight ultra end computers can enjoy them....

it really pises me off all these whiners, its not like they're getting any profit now is it?, people act like if they had any rights to complain, these guys spend a lot of time making something like this and in the end all they get is a bunch of whiners like the retard the post i quoted, conplaining about slow downloads and waiting times, what do you think that hosting is free? gez....

well, unfortunetly it wouldn't be a first, you've waited for a year? put 2 more years on top of that and that's how much I have been waiting (including the hl1 project), probably thay're waitinf for hl3 so they can give the same excuse as before, "yeah people, we are descontinuing the project cuz we'd like to port it over to source, so no mod...", bah this is just a sign i guess, sign of how crappy source really is, just look at the number of once very popular mods that are now dead, all the devs tryed, but sooner or latter they all smash theyr faces on the great wall of limitations source is.

to the hell with them, i for one sure won't buy any crappy games they come out with, but then i can't blame them like this, the number of once very popular WIP mods that are now dead are great...., if only source wasn't a total **** of a engine to work with.

good to know you're still working on this, i hope you can pull it off, can't wait for news about the new engine and all.

i voted for you guys, personally i cant wait to play this mod.

its a shame to see that source handles foliage that bad, there are 4 year old games with beter looking trees and stuff hehe, i wish valve could've taken that in consideration, anyway apart from that the map looks fantastic,its has that fantasy and magical feel to it, just lkike in SOM, and dont get me worng, your trees looks 100.000 times better then those in hl2, i just spected more from source, kinda wanted to wander through great beautifull forests, but after playing hl2 i realised that was not going to happen, anyway this mod will still be kickass, keep up the good work.

i cant stop drooling when i think of a secret of mana role playing game mod for hl2.
