Posted my rating and what I thought about the game so far. I really liked what you have so far, just hope you make some tweaks and improvements! This has probably been brought up before but the height of the character, lighting, and the footsteps could use just a little bit more work. Really looking forward to the future updates!

It's not the delay of updates that seem to bother most people, but the lack of communication. I know there is a lot of indie games out there that take time to develop but the ones that I've supported has always replied regularly. I tried checking your other sites that you would post on but the last post on every other site has been since March. I appreciate the reply though.

*also a good idea to leave a comment if you guys won't be posting or commenting for long periods of time.

I just submitted a question to Desura support and hopefully they can shine some light on this problem. It'd be fine if the devs come on and tell us a reason for the delay or lack of communication, but it's quite disrespectful to not reply to the people that supported their game.

These so called devs aren't going anywhere with this kind of approach to support and probably ruined whatever reputation they hoped to gain. If the game is truly "dead" then I feel bad for those who bought the settler's edition and getting nothing out of it :/. Let's see if they do come back and give a good reason for the lack of updates or communication. I'd really love to see this game finished.

Has anyone tried contacting Desura or whoever deals with these sales? If the devs aren't going to respond or progress the game any further then this game should be taken down to save other people from purchasing a dead game. The Devs should at least leave a comment saying if they're still working on SoR. Does it take so much time to get on and say, "Hey we're still working on the game."

I'm kind of disappointed as well in the lack of news or their current progress on updates. There are a bunch of other indie games where the game updates are slow but at least the devs know how to communicate and have the respect to respond with some sort of information to the people who are trying to support them. If they're still working they should at least let us know.

Tried Fort Zombie, and it was horrible at first, but wish they did more to it. Also the Moderators or devs were really immature to the forum posters about the game and received no help.

Had great ideas, but too bad the people who made it didn't treat it like a potential game :(. Looking forward to a completed Dead state and Project Zomboid.

@chris2933, and forgot to mention, I don't think infiniminer has crafting in it? Just a build and compete type sandbox game I think.

@Minecraftisforcubes, honestly MMO"s don't even take crafting that far. If you can name a few mmos that base their game mainly on crafting then let me know. Also if you even have the slightest idea which game notch based it off of let me know. Also make sure the mmo was before the game was in development.

Because from all the games I've played in my lifetime, none are even close to it. The guy in the video also did say "A certain indie game". We appreciate what notch did with the crafting system, and everyone else is building on top of it or following in the same suit.

No one said that minecraft invented "crafting". Dont' be so quick to judge, but minecraft's crafting is on a different level than any mmo or game that I know, unless it's some sort of survival mmo that I don't know of. The only game I remember with some fun crafting was that old school game survival kids or whatever.

Anyways looking forward to the game,

@tibyon yea only time it lags is during alot of zombies on screen at once. But there are times where it just seems to lags randomly, but happens rarely. But I'm sure it's just cause they need to clean it up a bit, can't wait for a full release and maybe some more features and exploration. Oh and I do have 64-bit java

It's still in alpha, and i can play high-end games too, but i still lag as well. I just think it's because the game is still in progress.
