Lol we aren`t able to fully dress up the map the way we want too, because of the cap in max. objects the editor has. we fixed that by spawning a lot of the objects with script, so we are already at max capacity now.

Dear community. If anybody wondered why work on MMS has been quiet, seamingly dead, it`s because one of the keymembers of our team has been really sick for a long time and because the others were too busy with catching up with their studies. Months Juli and August will be dedicated to our minigame again so stay tuned for lots of updates on the progress!

We decided to release the map before 1st of September, whatever whenever or however the minigame looks like at that point.

Ye its slightly better,. other recording software.
Update if anybody is interested:
Adding custom unit sound sets and icons now.
Adding merchant items and upgrades
Finilazing map for propper pathing and gameplay

Still looking for an animator. Come on, somebody help us out! Please don`t let this mod be released with a failing walk animation!

By the way, some idea`s, if not too late:

Russians dug trenches everywhere. Maybe a squad with only shovels who can dig trenches (like sandbags, not static foxholes))?

Maybe add a feature that your lower quality units (conscripts) can auto-retreat. Out of fear, or when pinned and so fort and than add an officer that you can put behind them that shoots 1 of them when they do so. The rest will than stop retreating.

Russians also trained soldiers dúring the war, ón the battlefield. So maybe add an option in one of the doctrines to "enlist conscripts" or "enlist partisipants". When you click a building they come out of it (like luftwaffe). OR give that to a commanding unit as an ability. ("call comrads to battle" or something)

I don`t know about the defences of the russians in your mod, but i know they created roadblocks with rubble and dirt, so maybe add those too?

Eventualy, maybe, add civillians to your game? Neutral ones that hide in buildings and run around sometimes from building to building. That the russians can transform into participants, by using an officer or squad.

Anyway, probably too late for adding to release and maybe you don`t like any of it. Just some idea`s, for first patch or anything.

Last thing we need to do are the animations and the voice acting. We are currently working on that last one, but the animations aren`t going to well. We need somebody for that fast!

If we don`t find anybody to do it for us, we will just have to release a beta that doesn`t have those animations. The gameplay won`t be disturbed by it, only the looks of the mod, so that is not going to stop us.

End of Januari is still our deadline and i will post the url to our site/forum/place to download it from here, on Moddb

This one is at least less laggy. For the comments on what is showed, watch the laggy, 2nd video.

In short: Pick a hero, Walk around using arrow keys, shows the newly imported pathing on the large buildings, shooting, using an ability that is targeted, toggle strafe walk, reloading and last it shows shooting + walking at the same time.

NOTE: Do you have any animating skills? we need animations on these models!! Strafe walk, walk backwards and shoot + walk. please contact us!

yes i used a free screen capture program, plus on a very old laptop. Which eventually turned into a 3fps capture. It`s just the vid lagging though, not the game.

Alright update on the news page:

The bugfixes are going great, but to make our deadline we still need somebody who can add the required animations to our models!

2 thing:

About your logo....
Ever thought of the fact that the CoD series uses that star as their
Logo... I`m sure that, if this game becomes a succes (more like when this game becomes a succes, it`s looking great), There WILL be legal and copyright problems if you use this as your logo, even if this star represents the star from the Vietnamese flag....

If you need any help, Mapping in particular, i`m offering my help. I have 3 months time now before i go to College and i have a LOT of experience with mapping (CoD series, Company of Heroes, Total war series) and I also know enough about the adobe serie (photoshop (Cs3), etc) to create game art.

I`m working on my graphic design skills atm (using programs like DX studio and 3d studio max and maya), but I don`t think i will be much of a help there yet...

So let me know if you could use my help!
