Sincere apologies to all who downloaded it after we said it is game save compatible. We overlooked one particular area which is likely to compromise saves further down the line so we are now labelling this patch as not save compatible. Please override files with originals to revert back if you wish to continue playing original game.

Apologies, a slight change we made to bandits seemed to have caused the crashes on v4. I have just uploaded v5 which should sort the issue.

In the next version only this, nurgle and skaven plague troops remain poisonous. Other current poisonous troops like goblin archers, skink blowpipes, assassin blades and witch elves have been made 'venomous' which acts differently and the effect does not linger on past the battle unlike poisonous.

It is a bloated corpse which causes a poisonous explosion every time they die.

We are still hoping for a June release. There are a few things left to do but it is getting there.

For those wondering about the estimated release date of the next update, we hope it will be in the late May/ early June time.

In the next update the wight blades do not affect the player or hero characters.

There is a fix for this on our discord currently. If you join and go to our bug reports section there is a scripts.txt file in the pinned messages.

That means warband script extender is not working properly. Are you loading the mod from the wse_loader in the wse folder?

Sorry we have been having some teething issues. Delete the mod. Reinstall the original download file and then add the patch I just reuploaded named quickpatch 1.4.

This is a reflection of the 'killing blow' skill they have in tabletop from their swords. 1 in 6 chance of instant kill.

Some magic spells nullify it, ranged weapons have negative modifiers.

I have made some changes to dodge in the next version. If the defender is swinging their weapon or reloading when attacked they have a negative modifier to their dodge. This modifier can be counteracted by high agility.

Also player and hero troops will get a bonus to hit dodging troops with a high weapon master skill.

Some players have resolved this issue by moving the entire contents of the WSE folder into the root path and running wse_loader from the same level as the exe.

If you look in the Burspa menu in camp menus there is a fast track option to locate them.

That is weird as I have made no changes to the beastmen or Bretonnia ai or army makeup. I guess that is just how the playthrough went.

We have examined the generic companion problem as it was not happening to the team. Player sent me their saves and it was not crashing for me either on the exact same game.

What those players found is that if they move the entire contents of the WSE folder and paste it in the first level of the warband folder so that wse_loader (and all other files) were in the same place as the mb_warband exe then the mod worked properly and the issue went away.

Halflings option is already in the mod. In fact if you go to the halfling vendor in Altdorf you can learn their exclusive magic school. Female Vampires are not currently in the pipeline due to skin limitations.

Each playthrough is different but I have made Kislev AI more defensive in the next update so there is more chance for Chaos to think about expanding than holding their own.
