This is good to hear. What exactly does 'didn't work out' mean? is that due to time constraints and conflicting schedules?

Certainly it is in everyone's best interest to work together. The only viable way to make an MMO is with large sums of money, or with collaboration on whole other level.

That, or Kickstarter/IndieGoGo.

I've done a little research (I searched on the googs) and have found 2 other projects attempting to create SAO. I would kill for even one of these projects to make it off the ground. But, if all three projects worked together to make SAO a reality...

I'm really not one to advertise, as that's not what I do when it's not in the best interest of all parties... Though I think it is for the sake of SAO. saoproject.org is one of the other projects I've seen, along with Facebook.com.

Pool your resources, especially if you don't want the big corporations like Aeria games or Nexon to screw up what could really be the best MMO ever made.

But hey, I'm just one voice. I've spread similar messages to both the facebook project and that .org, and I'll only post this one comment (and respond to any comments this gets, ofc) so I don't appear to be spammming.

Suggestion: instead of working on graphics or artwork in-game or conceptually, while that does hold merit, start at what makes SAO unique: the skills, the classless system. Iron that out and everything else will follow. In my humble opinion, that is.

Good luck and I want to see some progress. For now I'll play TERA, as it has a similar (but still dissimilar) combat system.

Preordered. We're still in alpha here, yes? So I don't feel bad about only being able to download the 8/7 build from yesterday?

Also, will I be able to activate this with a Steam key? I preordere from Runestorm.com (so hopefully the devs get more moolah)? If you can help in anyway. ^-^

Paid up, and what I've seen is awesome. However, I'm crashing about 10 minutes in. I'd love to play more and spread this awesomeness around, but I just can't!
