Too bad I was unable to try this out.
My Ubuntu system requires a version of Glib that is not in my repo.
You might include a README that has requirements.

Shift+s lets you save and exit. You can't 'legally' reload any other characters except that one. Also, be warned! this game is hardcore. You only get one life!
