We're actively continuing to develop the game. We have 1v1 duels, 2v2 team duels, and FFA game modes. There are 4 duel maps and two FFA maps, with a couple more FFA maps in the pipe. We're also working on Pure, the fourth character, with plans for possibly two more. More swords and sword types have already been modeled and are currently being balanced and playtested by the dev team.

While there may not be SP, we're also far from finished. We opened pre-orders because we've gotten lots of questions from people who missed the Kickstarter and wanted a way to give us money and play what we had ready right now.

If you're waiting for a sale, I wouldn't necessarily wait for the game to lose it's beta tag. As noted on the pre-order page, the pre-order price is a discount from what we think we'll sell the final game at.

We're aiming to sell at $10, so hopefully you'll be able to save up enough for it.

Counter Strike was the same game, over and over. Same for TF2. Yet millions of people have paid for those and still play them.

We had a bit of a mixup during the rollout with Build 7 servers set to talk to our test stats system. We've corrected this on the stats server end and all should be happy again.

It's still in beta. There's a beta invite code in the latest update. Go to Blade-symphony.com and enter your email address and Steam ID to register.

Yes, ranks (and stats) did get reset to support the new changes.

You can try checking the md5 sums of the installer and DLLs to make sure you have the correct ones. If you already have Blade Symphony installed, you might need to uninstall before installing Build 6.

We've updated the official servers, and put "[Build 6]" in the server name. Try playing on one of those.

We had stats in batch-process mode while we worked out a few kinks with the rating system. It is back to live updating now.

Your internet connection is probably run through a router doing NAT/Port-Address-Translation since your ISP only gives you one IP. Your router needs to be configured to correctly forward different ports to the different computers. If you had run both servers on your other computer (the one that had a server before), it would probably work.

Stats are very much a work in progress. That page has been updated to show the currently active/running servers. It used to show all servers, and using their local IP instead of public internet IP.

The update sidekick found was an update for sidekick. You need to run sidekick again and click the Update button. It should show you what the current revision number is and which revision you have, or none if you haven't updated with sidekick yet.
