Either you have a potato and are running out of VRAM or you have CoF installed on a HDD that's filled to that last byte. It's not an issue I've heard of before and idk if you're still encountering it but most of the time, the cause of the issue you described is what I've mentioned in my first sentence.

Same here. It seems this isn't a viable patch anymore, either due to updates to the engine since the release of this or idk... I just decided to verify file integrity to restore the steam exe for CoF and now the game seems to work fine. I still crash from time to time but I have an excellent frame rate and so far there doesn't seem to be any bugs that i've noticed, mainly oversights from the dev's part.

For some reason the game just instantly crashes when I try launching it with this enabled. I only have BaS, Soundscape Overhaul, and then when I try using JSRS and this patch I can't launch the game anymore, just crashes as soon as I click "Play S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly".

Yes, MO2 would say something along the lines of "gamedata isn't valid" or "file structure isn't valid". The first through you're forced through a tutorial that shows you what you can do depending on the file structure. So in this case the user would just have to Uncheck all the other versions and leave the version he wants to use Checked.
