Thanks for another game on Linux.

Installed and plays well. I can see the premices for good times ahead. Looking forward to all the new features that will be implemented and that will gradually flesh out the gameplay.

Regarding price, yes it is slightly more expensive than your usual games, but I think the investment of time that the developer is likely to put in this game is quite high.

I put a similar price on Minecraft & Amnesia, and don't regret it to this day.

Looking forward to things like different weapons (especially some ranged weapons), armour, annd more importantly, there should be a village with npc's. Then again that might not be the objet of the game...Will have to be patient I know...

Good luck with programming and hope you get a good uptake on the Alphafunding

WoW, first time I see DF in a store. This is just great. Will be installing this proudly as soon as my house move is finished and I have the net.

DF is easily one of the most complex, "fun" games I have played.

Having the RSS feed of the developer is also scarily worrying when one sees the complexity of thought that goes into the creation of this game.

The fortress is dead. Long live the fortress!

The linux version will scare a few people off, but personally, I find it really pretty, all those ASCII graphics are quite esthetic.

However, the lazy newb pack is good for some people who prefer to have good visual cues.
